For your whole church

Every part of the body, served well.

Elders shepherd. Deacons serve. Staff keep things running. Members are loved and known. TechLight gives each of them what they need, and keeps private what should stay private.

Feel known and cared for

Hear from your elders before they pray for you, share how they can pray for your family in one simple form, and book time to meet with one, several, or all of the elders.

  • One response covers the whole family
  • Book time with the elders

How a prayer cycle works

A simple rhythm that keeps the whole church in prayer.

Set it up once. TechLight quietly carries the details so your elders can give their attention to people and to prayer.

  1. Step 1

    Elders set the rhythm

Choose how often you meet. TechLight divides your congregation into groups of about 30 to 40 people, Group A, B, C, D and on, and rotates through them.

Every 4 weeks · Tuesdays at 6 PM
  2. Step 2

    Members hear from their elders

About a week before each meeting, the group receives a warm note. Your elders love you, pray for you often, and will be praying for you by name on that date.

    Sent automatically
  3. Step 3

    Families share how to pray

Members answer the questions you choose. One response can cover a whole household, and every answer is encrypted the moment it arrives.

    Encrypted · elders only
  4. Step 4

    Elders pray by name

On the night, open TechLight on a laptop or phone. Pray through each household, mark them as prayed for, and note anyone who needs a follow-up.

Features

Everything your elders need. Nothing they don’t.

Thoughtful tools that stay out of the way, so time together is spent on people rather than software.

Prayer cycles that run themselves

Groups, meeting dates, invitations, and reminders, all scheduled in your church's time zone. Pause, reschedule, or send early whenever you need.

A prayer view worth opening

Photos, family members, and the requests each household shared, in a calm layout made for a laptop at the table or a phone in hand.

Member directory and printable PDF

An official roster for elders and staff, with household photos and a polished photo directory you can print or share as a PDF.

Meet with the Elders

Members choose one, several, or all of the elders and pick a time that works with their Microsoft 365 calendars. A Teams link is added automatically.

Questions in your own words

Ask what matters to your church with short or long answers, yes or no, or multiple choice, and make the email wording your own.

Planning Center sync, or a simple CSV

Bring in people, households, and photos from Planning Center and keep them current. Not on Planning Center? Import a spreadsheet instead.

No passwords to forget

Elders and staff sign in with a one-time email link or their Microsoft 365 account. Members never need an account at all.

Security and privacy

Pastoral care deserves real privacy.

What members share with their elders is sacred. TechLight is built so it stays with the elders, and only the elders.

  • Separated in the database itself

Each church's information is isolated by row-level security in the database, not only by the app.

  • Prayer requests encrypted at rest

Prayer requests and elder notes are encrypted with a key unique to your church.

  • For elders only

Not church admins, not secretaries, and not TechLight staff. Only your elders see what members share.

  • No passwords to steal

Sign in with a one-time email link or Microsoft 365.

  • No giving data per person. Ever.

Future giving features will show aggregate totals only.

Questions

Questions churches ask us.

Something else on your mind? Write to us and we will gladly talk it through.

Who can see prayer requests?
Only your elders. Prayer requests are encrypted at rest and protected by a database rule that church admins, secretaries, and TechLight staff cannot get past.
Do members need an account?
No. Members respond through a private link in their email, and booking time with the elders works from a simple page for your church. Only elders and staff sign in.
Can one response cover a whole family?
Yes. Family members are linked as a household, so one person can share for everyone, and elders see the whole family together.
Do we need Planning Center?
No. Planning Center sync is optional and brings in people, households, and photos. You can also import a CSV file or add members by hand.
Does it work with Microsoft 365?
Yes. Elders and staff can sign in with Microsoft 365, and Meet with the Elders checks their Outlook calendars and adds a Teams link automatically. Email sign-in links work for everyone else.
Can we change the emails and the questions?
Yes. Each church writes its own prayer questions and can edit the invitation, reminder, and thank-you messages so they sound like your elders.
Will TechLight track giving?
Never per person. Future giving features will show aggregate totals and campaign progress only.
How do we get started?
Request access and tell us a little about your church. We will set up your account, help you bring in your members, and walk your elders through their first prayer meeting.
